I think Nylander led Leafs Forward in individual expected goals yesterday so he’s getting chances, just not finishing.

its not his play with the puck i hate its his play without the puck its ****ing brutal, he has not heart hes a calvin klein model

You could get more out of Nylander. Actually at 6.6M he is probably your best player in terms of points/dollars.

But yeah, bad games happen. Ottawa is a young team with nothing to lose. It gives them underdog powers.

There is no proof of this. Literally none. He has been elite defensively this season. His xGA has been insanely good this year. That doesn't happen to a guy who is terrible without the puck.

thank you! He certainly wasn't good and yes he has his moments, but I didn't understand why I was seeing constant Nylander trades today (other than, you know, when anything goes wrong its Nylander's fault)

Yes that game was horrible, but the stats say OTT didn't deserve to win. I take that with a grain of salt, there is no excuse for the terrible collapse, but it does tell me not to hit the panic button. They're still atop the league in points

I just dont like the fact that he never hits or gets aggressive or shows emotion every time he has an opportunity to hit he just does a drive by and pokes at the puck . he has some good games but just way too inconsistent for me
