Addison beckman or 1sts wouldn’t be in the mix for any mn trade unless it involves a 1C. The only think Montreal has that would get mn going are kotkaniemi or Suzuki, but I know both are untouchable. So just don’t see Minn being a good trade partner for Montreal unless it’s like depth pieces.

The wild wouldn't want Jonathan drouin. He had been awful in every way , & shape. He was good in Tampa Bay. Drouin is also a winger being paid 5mil, & more.

It's a lateral move from Drouin and Zucc on the 2nd line. Not really an improvement.

Simply put Drouin is another LHS non-elite wing. LHS wings on MN's roster: Kaprizov, Fiala, Greenway, Zucc, Parise, Foligno, MarJo, Sturm.

Kaprizov, Fiala, Greenway (figured out the NHL game), and Zucc are all as good or better than Drouin.

Foligno and Parise are better suited for a bottom-6 role than Drouin (so is Hartman). Then there is Boldy should get a shot after the college season is over.

Also Drouin would just be exposed in the SEA expansion draft for MN. Nope, not a spot for him with the Wild's roster and contracts.

Putting Foligno and especially sturm in that group is a travesty
