Dzinger18 finally something good has happened!

Holy crap I’m hyped. Thank god we got him locked up for under 8 million.

😂😂😂, probably accurate to be fair

It was definetly accurate. Poland won 1-0. The only goal was a shot that barely got past the goalie's pads

Lucky thing for Canes fans that the Svech deal was a W. Waddell’s gotta earn the W in his name in at least 1/3 of transactions (one W two Ls lol). Now hopefully the Sens get Tkachuk locked up for 8 years at slightly less than this.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the Canes have 8.6M in cap space now (with Gardiner on LTIR). So if they didn't sign Freddie Andersen, they would have been able to keep Dougie and Nedgrimace

He’s always at least half injured. Also a defensive liability so I get the idea of putting him on LTIR.

I still cannot believe Vancouver didn't get a single good year out of that contract.

Someone do an overrated players list

1. Josh Morrissey

The 3 worst analytical players in the NHL last year

1. Radek Faksa
2. Jordan Greenway
3. Josh Morrissey

Guy is treated like a #1 d-man but he fails every single hockey evaluation test. Eye test fail, analytical fail, even point production fail. He put up 12 5v5 points last year. 17 point pace.

2. Sean Monahan

Again, analytical - 3C, point production - 3C, eye test - half the games I can't even tell you he was playing yet he's treated like a fringe 1C when in reality he's a 3C

Dahlin

Now that could be a hot take but he had 1 good year and now he’s had 2 abysmal years. Yes he’s on Buffalo blah blah - but Eichel, Reinhart, etc still perform. But he’s treated like a Elite pairing d man still by many fans and Buffalo fans.

Dahlin has been just brutal and still has upside but it’s hard to argue he’s worth much right now. You’re really just betting on potential if you think he’s worth something. He’s needs to play well to justify continuous defending of him. Trust me he’s got potential but you can’t defend a kid for 3 years straight if he plays mediocre again.

I think this is a bit too far in the other direction tbh. He’s a perfectly good 2C who has typically been an above average offensive contributor. 19-20 was a down year where he was still on pace for 26 goals and 56 points, which is very good 2C numbers. His average from 2014-19 was 31 goals and 68 points per 82 games which is elite 2C, 1C on a non-contender numbers (which is what he was). This year he was only on pace for 46 points, but he was playing through a hip injury and with a rotating cast of RWers who honestly shouldn’t even be in the NHL (Ritchie, Leivo, Simon, Nordstrom all sucked, Bennett was probably the best and he didn’t deserve to be higher than the 4th line when he was with us).
