I don't think Carolina wants Risto and they definitely aren't giving that much for him

Canes pass. Risto isn’t the answer regardless of what happens with Dougie. Not giving up drury and a better pick for a year of an overpaid dman who doesn’t solve any of their issues.

You won't get two firsts out of LA, nor will the Kings include Quick.

That's pretty so-so for just Eichel, we shouldn't be including Thompson and a 2nd

I don’t mind Ristolainen to the Canes, but certainly not at that price

Absolutely not from Wild's perspective.

None of the bad players you offered is getting dumba; neither a need or would ever play on wild.

You're not getting two firsts in a row from us, nor are you getting two A-plus prospects in the same trade, nor are you getting Quick. Turcotte or Vilardi, Anderson-Dolan or Lizotte or Wagner, Clague or Madden or Thomas, and a first.

Kings are gonna have to give up more than that if they want Eichel and the other pieces. Turcotte is almost a must in this deal.

I truly believe Eichel is going to either LA or Vegas. LA can make can make the better deal. The Kings need to make the playoffs. If Rob Blake wants to keep his job he needs to have a big off-season. Plus they can afford to trade for Eichel, they have plenty of prospects and cap space.

Nobody's disputing that. The issue is whether he's entitled to get three times a much talent as he should. And whether any trade should be made before he plays at least a quarter of a season of NHL games again.
