However, at this juncture, it's highly unlikely Danault will be back with the Canadiens.

I know it's fake news but I think it would be a great deal from all sides. Montreal loses Danault but he was likely leaving anyway, Seattle gets a 2C who can play 1C if needed, Danault gets the value he thinks he deserves.
