You absolutely have to get more for Gibson. I know he's coming off a down year and all, but he's stolen countless games in front of that god awful defense for years. As long as he's not overworked, he's easily a top five goalie in the game to me. I doubt Pittsburgh has a package that would interest Anaheim prospect wise. I also don't see Rakell being worth a good young player like Yams and a first on top of it.

Penguins: Accept (although they'd have cap problems) (they probably prefer to send Jarry and keep DeSmith)
Oilers: Decline (Yamamoto is worth more than 1 year of Rakell by himself)
Calgary: Decline (Henrique costs a 1st to dump but you didn't give anything for Mangiapane who's worth at least a 1st)
Nashville: Getzlaf won't waive his NMC.

The only trade where you appear to have considered what the other team would want is the Penguins. For the rest of them, not only are they overpays, the team would have no interest in what you're giving them.

If you want a big haul back for Gibson I would get Edm and Tor in a bidding war.

Nashville reportedly inquired on Getzlaf, Henrique was on Calgary's radar at one time (I think anyway, so I had that in mind when I made that trade) and Edmonton seemed like a fit for rakell as McDavid will finally have someone a bit more competent on his line other than draisaitl

Gibson has 6 more years at 6.4M and hasn't posted good numbers the past 2 seasons. I think he could get a bit more but not that much. If he has another mediocre season then at what point do we consider him a cap dump?

Gibson has six years left -- if you think he's going to be good that long, then that package is both laughable and insulting; if you don't, then why are you trading for him?

Rakell isn't worth Yamamoto and a first; some Oilers guys will tell you he's not worth either. I'd be charmed to get either, frankly. And he'd be great with McDavid.

Calgary isn't trading Mangiapane for Henrique and we're not paying a first to move him; he's still worth a positive return.

We're on record as promising Getzlaf we'll only move him if he wants to go somewhere in particular; Nashville ain't it.

Edmonton doesn’t need Rakell they need you low cap hit players who can also play.
