Agree about Vancouver but the returns that other teams paid/got for offensive Reilly type D-men was insane this offseason. This dude is going to get a pay day somewhere

LOL this guy paid the equivalent of 2 first round picks. Players that are 5 times as good didn’t even get that kind of return.

Mario is one of the few true untouchables in SJ. He won't be moved.

Bro, at that price, they should be. The equivalent of two 1st rounders for a guy who won't be around after they've decided to start and finish their rebuild

What? You clearly know nothing about the sharks. Nothing. Mario is very likely the future captain and key piece of the sharks new core. It's not that the deal isn't good for SJ it's that Ferraro isn't going to be moved for a long long time. Do some research before posting half assed comments

Ferraro is about to turn 23. You still have your old guard around for 6 years. If you're ready to compete maybe a year or two after that, Ferraro will be 31 and probably moved on from the Sharks.

Regardless, you're getting probably twice the market price for him in this trade.

Sharks aren't moving Ferraro for that. He's their future captain and can/has played top 2 minutes.

Dvorak with a career high 38 point season isn't worth a first and second rounder.

Canucks decline. Too much to give up for a guy they can't afford and don't need.
