Ottawa declines.

Timo Meier's QO in 2023 would give Uncle Euge a heart attack.

I was crossing my fingers that Uncle Euge has one before this deal was made

The Wild pass. We can't afford Hertl and he'll be like 32 by the time our dead cap is gone. We need Boldy and his cheap contract, and youth.

Vlasic has too many years left on his deal and has become rather ineffective from what he used to bring. I'd rather not bring him in.

No one is taking vlasic on that deal let alone giving up any kind of assets to acquire him.

Hertl is making more than $6.5 mil on his next contract. I would prefer not to trade Dahlén until we know what he is and Couture would be a 1C on Montreal, seems like not a great return for what the sharks are giving up.

I'd do the Habs trade but I have a feeling Couture wouldn't waive for MTL.

The Wild would be foolish to pass on that deal. With Gogo and Rask coming off the books you can likely make his extension work. You guys are rich on the wing and can afford to move Boldy to shore up your major weakness.

I have to think MIN would accept that deal. MTL makes sense from a need and trade value aspect, but I don't know if their financial situation allows it to happen.

I think the rest say no.

Rangers RD is overcrowded as it is so although the price is only a 4th and 5th there is just no room for him

Even if he did, that's an awful contract to take on. Meier is nowhere close to worth that and it effectively makes him a UFA because nobody will or should match that.
