With McDavid I’m sure he’d score 50 goals, he’s as fast as McDavid and has a wicked shot. With Ovi he’d learn how to use that deadly shot, he has a harder shot than Ovi by a smudge (Gurianov recorded the hardest shot in the NHL vs Vegas at 110 mph), but Ovechkin has everything else mastered unlike Gurianov. If Ovi would show him the way I’m sure they would both score godly amounts.

Nah, I can’t see us moving him anytime soon, Mantha has too high of a cap hit for us to swallow as a cap tight team anyways.

If you’d want him theoretically it would cost a 1st and your best prospect not named Lapierre or McMichael.

Trade him to Calgary after we trade for Eichel, Gurianov-Eichel-Mangiapane might be the fastest line ever and Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk would be our 2nd line lol (Dube-Backlund-Coleman is a great 3rd line too)

Tbh idk what we'd give up. Probably not willing to move Pelletier, Coronato, or Wolf, and Zary+our 1st would presumably be gone for Eichel. I would assume the Bennett trade would be a comparable maybe (identical contract/age at time of trade assuming this is a deadline deal and Dallas is out of the playoff race)? He's not as good as Reinhart, but better than Arvidsson, which fits nicely into that tier as well. Two 2nds + Ruzicka?
