Isles are looking for a PMer so send Kulak there for a 4th. Send Chiarot to Edmonton since they are looking for a stabilizing D man to play top 4 for a 1st. IF you really want you can sway Byron for Richie but Richie is useless and Byron is a great PK specialist.

why do the leafs do this? they dont need any more 4th liners, especially ones who are more expensive, longer term and older than Ritchie

Cap dump for cap dump with higher cap hit seems like a really bad move for a team with no cap space.

Yeah so giving up a *currently* top 10 pick for an OK defenseman is not a good move when half the team has covid and is currently below .500 in the toughest division in hockey.

Don’t you think that’s more of a reason not to give a 1st for a mediocre defenseman. Is Chiarot supposed to come in a and stabilize their blue line?

Chiarot is a glorified bottom pair dman, only ken holland and jim benning would pay more then a 3rd for him. isles are better off getting ghost or lindholm
