Makes sense, Spezza should get around 3-4

He’s a big loss for us, but he did deserve it.

I don’t condone hurting players in any way shape or form, but I respect Jason standing up for our guys. Just wish he did it within the rules.

I respect Spezza for sticking up for his teammates but you can't tell me kneeing someone in the head doesn't deserve a suspension

All could have been avoided if the Refs did their jobs as Spezza would not have to go Captain America on Pionk

With Spezza's clean record probs gets 4 games and a slap on the wrist

But man he pulled a Steve Rogers Grenade scene so that someone bigger would not get the blame

God Speed

Byron (hopefully he's back soon but i havent heard any news on him)
Niku (covid)
Anderson (2-4 weeks)
Gallagher (covid)
Petry (supposedly day to day but i have a feeling it might be longer)

That's not a good reason to intend to injure and knee a guy lmao

While 4 game is probably what he ends up getting it should be more regardless of his record or how much of a saint he is. That predatory sh-stuff, predatory stuff, shouldnt be in the game. But if Tom Wilson did the same things he'd only get 4 games so...... Here we are.

In general to me the NHL should be ashamed of themselves

Officiating in most games this season has been a joke and players are basically taking matters into their own hands

All these fines and suspensions or subsequent disciplines could have been avoided if the Refs did their jobs

So in the end *** the refs its time NHL for a change

I imagine that's shouldn't right? Because yeah, there's no reason to knee a guy who on the ice, especially if you have to dive to reach them

In general as I mentioned above if Refs called Pionk on his knee no need for retaliation. Its sad but that seems how most games today are going

Refs let the kids bash and crash each other, someone gets hurt, retaliation, headache for player safety, players get punished, refs walk away scott free to go officiate another game and the cycle repeats

Honestly gets these refs on the air during intermissions to explain why they didnt call certain plays while for other lesser things they call that on the spot.

Valid.
But regardless how the game gets officiated Spezza still crossed the line. If he was a younger player he'd get the benefit of the doubt but a veteran player like him should know better. You don't hang around in the league as long as he has without knowing where the line is.
