It feels like when ovi shoots form the office it’s at the goalies belly. That’s the only shot that we do on the powerplay and when we try other areas nothing connects. We need more puck movement and off puck movement. We have the talent it’s just not clicking. Also the way we enter the zone sucks. There is no space between the defender and the o man. The slingshot is what it’s call I think. We need something better

yeah that's true, but I feel like the gambles are paying off. They have a ton of under market value contracts , Skjei is their only bad contract IMO.

True but sometimes it causes them to lose talent. Like sure Raanta has been a good backup but they had a younger Ned and they let him go over 1mill. And young good goalies are not that common in the NHL these days with most now being over 30.

Goalies can be voodoo and they have a number in mind and won't go off of it, I kind of respect it. I think the process works overall even if some moves look bad at first.

I thought it was insane to let Dougie walk but they've replaced him with Bear and Deangelo. Now they're going to end up signing Bear to something like 3.75x 5 and Deangleo will probably get 4.5 x 2. Low risk high reward.

If John Klingberg is made available, I wonder which teams would be the most interested. Jim Nill should be calling up Edmonton for Bouchard, even if that means taking on a bad contract.

If we can get Bouchard for Klingberg I’d be overjoyed because I doubt it would happen, but considering it’s Ken Holland it’s somewhat realistic.
