If I’m EDM, my *starting* point for a trade is like, four 1st round picks. No protections. Plus, all your top prospects, as well as an NHL -ready Top-Line Forward. And that might not be enough for a guy that can and will single-handedly change the direction of your team for the next decade-plus.
