Bratt seems like hell be on Hughes line for the next 10 years but they need a right shot shooter with them weather it can be Holtz is TBD but if the price is low enough for Laine I think they have to jump on it

Two middle 6 forwards and a 1st isn’t going to get you Laine for an in division trade, if NJD is really serious about acquiring Laine Columbus is probably asking for one of Holtz, L.Hughes or Shakir (not even going to try and spell his last name) and a 1st in the trade.

Throw in Tatar as a cap balancer and maybe, I’m not Jarmo but adding a solid defensive prospect is a need for Columbus.

I wouldn't want the Devils to trade for Laine at all.
He's gonna commander a significant return involving Mercer, Holtz or L Hughes.
I'd be very hesitant to send a package involving those guys for a rather inconsistent (albeit very talented) scorer with limited years of team control.
Don't do it fitz.

Honestly I think this is probably the value of laine. I like zacha and the first would be nice, If it were to be this year.

Let’s say it’s this year and 10th overall, I think cbj takes it. We send back a small addition to even things out.

I'd rather ship Smith+ or a pkg to get Chychrun
D would be done for years JC absorbs some of the Dougie money for now
stupid good top 4, minutes can be much more even throughout.
Pay for the sniper in FA and go.
