Probably one of the biggest deals the Sabres could make. Debrincat would add a premium nhl scoring threat to their top-6 to truly show they are ready to take a step forward.

Sabres shouldn’t be spending assets on a winger outside the draft. The more apparent need is right defense which I don’t think Manson fixes.

This is a big underpayment. I think Dahlin will be with "A", given the words of Tuch and Granato about him.

    Accepted on Entwistle’s name alone.

Yes Cozens, Debrincat is a top 5 goal in the leauge and that's going to be his cost.

Cozens + Mittelstadt + 1st + 2nd is Eichel level return. That's a lot man, DeBrincat's good but that's really what it's going to take?

When Sabres fans are telling you it's an underpayment, you know you've screwed up.

The Sabres shouldn't be looking at wingers.

I kind of disagree with this take. The center spine is pretty good with Cozens, Thompson, Krebs, and Mittlestadt if he isn’t moved. Combine that with a potential Savoie/Cooley in this draft and they’re pretty loaded. Need to look for some high end wingers to help bring this offense along

And for Manson, it was just an idea. They def need another top-4 guy to play with Dahlin and Jokiharju is a terrible partner

So you think Eichel, who had a massive surgery pending, was vocal about asking for a trade, and carries 5 years on $10M cap hit and then a UFA has more value in a trade then Debrincat who's under a deal of the century cap hit today and an RFA after that? Come on. It's not just about who's the better player, but more importantly their contract status and health.

Respectfully, I disagree. Like a lot. We're good at wing and left d. The centers are a huge question, and right d is an abyss (unless you get a couple of the lefties to play on the right). Goalie has to be addressed, hopefully a league average goalie on the cheap, short term. Plus I think wingers tend to be overvalued.

Mittelstadt is a throw in at this point. Not nearly the return for Eichel
