Second rounder is a fair price to pay - but Kulak is critically underrated. He doesn't do anything great, but he is good in every aspect of the game. Certainly an upgrade on Keith and Ceci, IMO.

I like Kulak but that's an overpay, he's worth a 3rd or 4th but its Kenny Holland so shouldn't be surprised, Da Haan would've been a better iinvestment for the Oilers.

Tampa is a much more complete team than EDM is -- definitely overpaid, but they can afford to do it more than EDM can. Having said that, still a big overpay for Hagel. All the prices are inflated this deadline-- buyers should just refuse to pay until the prices are brought down. If GMs refused willing to pay these high price, the other GMs would be forced to lower their ask.

If you guys don't watch the Oilers, just say so. Ceci has been very good this year and is playing well on the 1st pairing.

It is possible edmonton gets to the semi finals because they can beat LA and Calgary but i don't like edmonton's chances against Minnesota or the Avs. The Dmen are not veteran enough yet for a run to the finals.

Ceci has been pretty good this year. Very steady and can move the puck. I would say he is a 4 million dollar dman but they don't pay him that.

Could be wrong, but doubt the Habs moved him unless it's a second coming back.

Ceci has never had a good year in his life. The fact that he's still in the NHL and amking as much $$$ as he does is mind blowing to me. Analytics guys and eye test guys alike both agree that Ceci is baaaaad. By every metric. Tangible and intangible.

It would be worth more if it was informed.

Almost every one of Nurse's metrics is better without Ceci. Point proven. Nurse is so good he can make a bad Dman seem not so bad. Good for Darnell.
