Muzzin with a little retention & a 6th doesn't get you Varlamov fully retained *and* a 2nd.

As much as I would love to have Liljegren and Sandin signed to those deals, I am not so sure anymore. The case to lock them both up now on long term deals that they could out perform seems like the better approach

I'm genuinely curious as to why you figure that the Leafs need to pay to shed Holl?

Islanders have already blocked Dubas’s number along with the entire Toronto Maple Leafs fan base.

That M-NTC next to Mrázek name means he is not going anywhere and I doubt Buffalo would be interested anyways. There are too many far better goaltenders on the UFA market who will be available soon from teams that cant afford to pay them.

I've said Muzzin has been the worse Leafs Dman this year. Why Leafs fans think he can be traded is just....."crazy" to me.

It scares me. A 33yo dman that had a bad season. Idk about you but to me that seems like an age decline. Then add in the fact that he has concussion problems and i would stay far away from him.

You watch Holl more than I so I will accept your evaluation.
He played as well I would have expected when the Sabres played the Leafs.
Mrázek performance fell off of a cliff this year.
Probably due to not having Hamilton, Pesce, Slavin and Skjei playing in front of him.
It cost the Islanders two second round picks to unload one year of Ladd's $5,500,000 salary.
Two years of Mrázek's $3,800,000 salary would cost more than one second.
The COL's 2022 second round pick will be nearly a third, while the Islanders 2022 2nd is about 20 rounds earlier.
Holl and Mrázek for the COL's 2022 second round pick and WIN's 2022 third round pick.
I would imagine most Sabre fans would say no, but having seven picks among the first 75 in this years draft would get me excited.
