What would it take

Team: 2022-23 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 6, 2022
Published: Apr. 6, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Just wondering what other fan bases would want back for these centers. Assume Larkin, Raymond, Seider, and Edvinsson are untouchable.

Also who other Wings fans would want to trade for, even someone not on this list.

Strome is going to cost more than you're willing to pay, he's basically our only good option at center at the moment. Toews isn't elite anymore and Dach needs more development.

Oh man… I’m trying to remember this prospect pool. He is a very good player, but I don’t think his value is as high as some think. Now I would want Seider, but I don’t see him getting moved. Raymond would be the main piece, so possibly Lucas Raymond, 2022 1st round pick, Sebastian Cossa. And that’s about it I would say. Maybe another piece if it’s not completely fair, but this looks about right. We could draft Savoie with that first round pick, and have the brothers reunited! Raymond, McDavid would be crazy good too!

It would cost a 1st+2nd+A- level prospect. Dvorak brought in a 1 and a 2, so you’d have to top that for a much better player in schmaltz

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

LA is looking for quality young NHL-ready prospects/players. Most notably at LHD or RW. They're looking to compete now, so they're not looking for draft picks as the major piece in compensation.

Looking at Detroit's available players, as well as your untouchable list, I don't really see anything the Kings would want.

After Petersen's inconsistency this season, I suppose the Kings could be interested in a blue-chip goaltending prospect. They'd probably do a Turcotte for Cossa swap.

Dubois isn’t available… he’s as close to untouchable as it gets.

Just a little levity. Have you never heard that saying before?

Dubois would take Seider. You won't do that and there is nothing else you could offer that would make us consider it.

Realistically these trades aren't going to happen. By some chance one of those teams says yes it would be far more than Detroit would be able to give up we would be in the same spot we were at 3 years ago. Nothing against Strome he is a very good player but would he a legit #2C in Detroit. Playing between Cat and Kane and the chemistry he has there you could argue that Chicago doesn't need a #1C and its why is it cost a lot more than Detroit can afford.

I don't think Strome moves though would need to include Zadina and other pieces

You don't have the pieces to get Draisaitl.
