Hart isn't available unless you make a huge overpay that Philly can't resist.

I feel its probs gonna be Husso

UFA, Holland can outbid Blues for him, and he can be their goalie of the future with Skinner.

True, just was pointing it out that Lou seems to not want to move either guy yet.

As if Varlomov was available got to think he would have been moved at the TDL to a team not on his M-NTC

I can't see players waiving their NTCs for Oilers, Certainly other teams have motivation to trade cost efficient goalies which you have listed. Poor cap management has put the Oilers in uncomfortable spot to pay for goalie. Looks like they just might have strike magic with a an inexpensive goalie, whoever that might be.

Reports were that Varlamov wouldn't waive for Edmonton.

He has a full NTC, So he has a say in where he goes. And sorry can't see him waiving for Edmonton.

I doubt the Blues trade him. However, i think there's a few teams he would go do. I'm also sure having McDavid and Draisaitl could help his decision making

Of this list, only Husso and Saros posted better GSAx/60 than Smith this year, and they were only marginally better. The concern with Smith is his health, not his ability.

Of this list, only Husso, Saros, Sorokin and Elliott posted better GSAx/60 than Skinner this year.

      It's not a good list.

Couple years down the line Oilers will need a Goalie or expect Skinner to become the franchise starter. They can either draft the goalie, trade or sign him. Question is when is the trigger pulled as it's apparent goaltending is the issue with this team and they need someone to steal games.

Sure. But that's a couple years away. You based this AGM on this summer, not a couple years away.

And again, I wrote this of the Oilers 23-year-old rookie goalie: Of this list, only Husso, Saros, Sorokin and Elliott posted better GSAx/60 than Skinner this year. For reference, he outperformed Carter Hart this year. He's younger than Hart and cheaper too. Why wouldn't you view him as a starter for the future?
