Honestly despite the Loss I liked the progress of this team

Now there will need to be changes but unlike other series the big 4 and Rielly for the first time all showed up together

That said the bottom 6 still needs work

As 2 goals from Kampf, Mikheyev, and 1 from Kerfoot and Bunting aint enough

Now I do believe Nylander is going to be traded to shore up the bottom 6 but 3 keys for me going into the offseason

1. Extend Campbell
2. Extend Giordano
3. Extend Spezza

anyone who thinks dubas or keefe should be fired after losing that series can firmly get in a trash can.

the team showed up and wanted to win but came up short

Showing up and wanting to win is the bare minimum. Winning is another thing. There should be a major shakeup.

I understand the pain - the Sharks never won but dominated for 2 decades.

Sometimes the spotlight just doesn’t shine on you.

But if Dubas is fired Toronto will regret it.

First full season under Keefe Toronto sets a new season high

Dubas doesnt trade a first and brings in Giordano who really helped our blue line

There is still work to be done as I feel the bottom 6 needs work but if Matthews and Marner can continue to grow and we dont get the 2-time champs as our first opponent then we should see a better result

There’s no way next years team will be as good as this year. They can’t afford

Imo you trade Nylander (you HAVE to make a change) and have to make a big blue line change overall.

Dubas said last year they would stick with this core for "one more year". Welp they are out again in the 1st so I expect a major shakeup. I could see Dubas firing Keefe or even Dubas himself getting fired. I'm a Habs fan, so I'm just hoping he makes a panic move.

Nylander for Ty Smith + Sharangovich + something else and sign Daddy Nicholas Paul with the cap space.

I don’t think Ty Smith is the saving grace.

I’m thinking Brent Burns😈😈😈😈😈😈😈🥸

I feel Dubas gets one more shot, Keefe its tough as the coaching market has Trotz

BUT

Nylander is probs on his way out

Yes the big 4 did show up this series with Rielly, but the depth scoring kind of disappeared after game 4

The problem with Smith hes a LD and we got 3 rn

I would look at more forward depth

The 1 thing I think is a must which probably won't happen is; strip Tavares of the Captaincy. It's not a coincidence that the teams he captains can't make it far in the playoffs.

I got a feeling Matthews is the 2022 Captain

As Keefe's quote 2 months ago seems to be suggesting a change in the C and A structure
