Everyone Declines & Leafs Decline even hiring you cause you’d screw this team more than Brian Burke did

im not sure laine and klingberg are the answer to TO getting over the hump.

Laine and matthews are to similar to play with each other

laine is very 1 dimensional
so is klingberg IMO as an offensive soft deman.

These Muzzin to LA trades are getting increasingly ridiculous.

i mean, laine is in no way the answer, but he's not similar to matthews at all.

I agree with you probably miss spoke they are both goal scorers is where the similarities are. That's why I also said laine is very one dimensional he scores thats it.
Matthews does do more that just score. but they would not work on the same line IMO

Jackets decline. Laine will be signed long term this offseason. Jackets need a 1C or top pair RHD. Not another winger

Columbus probably declines tbh, Laine is one dimensional as a shooter/scorer but that’s the big thing Columbus has been missing since Rick Nash was in Columbus. So he might be one dimensional but it’s the one dimension Columbus has always needed.

Los Angeles isn't interested in this effort to shed significant cap.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. Will you Toronto guys please stop doing this? It's like the Montreal guys with their silly Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades. And the idea that we would trade Gabe Vilardi for him is simply cuckoo, never mind the third.
