RNH isn't going anywhere and Georgiev isn't a great option.

Klefbom will likely never play again. He had surgery on his left shoulder which has been bothered by arthritis. It's too bad. He was a very good defenseman in my opinion.

The rangers trade is a new kind of bad man nuge is on a team friendly deal and was on pace for 65+ points this year if he played all the games and the return is so weak.

Also tyson barrie is not a negative asset. Ben chiarot of all people got a 1st a 3rd and a prospect if he can drag that in then barrie who hasn't been bad as of late and led the league in points for a d-man last year will definitely drag in a second at the very least.

Also jeese is probably gonna be better than connor brown in the next year or two so why do that trade

Devils decline. Not only is Kassian not their style of player, but there's no room for him at his cap hit. Was that just a trade to move salary to another team?

I was going to say if he is going play next year Detroit would be happy to take him for a 7th.

OTT declines, Brown is better than Puljujärvi

I wouldn't even do that straight up, and you still add a 2nd, no way.

Exactly, that's why we roll the dice with a low pick... if he CAN come back, it's a steal, if he can't it's a 7th round pick... I'm willing to roll the dice on it...

It all depends if Yzerman can draft any of his former teammate's sons. Like Kienan Draper.

Puljujarvi and Kassian for zacha? Maybe a little tinkering on either side to make it work

I would accept the Detroit trade if we missed on signing or trading for actual relevant roster players and just needed to hit the cap floor. Otherwise, I'm not sure it accomplishes.

Puljujärvi is "only" 4 years younger... I think that's something that is overlooked by people
