This hurts me as a Jackets fan and a Leafs fan. I absolutely adore Olly, and the fact that the Leafs could've got an impact player like him for so little makes me very jealous. I loved him on the Jackets too, fantastic 2 way guy and a tremendous forechecker. Jarmo has confused me to no end this offseason. Oh well, best of luck in Seattle Olly, I'm gonna miss you

Yea I really wanted him on the Leafs. I made a Nylander for Bjorkstrand + proposal a few months back.

Seattle wasn't lying when they said they wanted to leave cap space open to weaponize it... damn.

what if he also moved nyquist and signs kadri?

That is the only way this makes sense to me. Even with that they should have gotten much more bjorky. there is no way they called very many gms.
