nah, the leafs are better off paying muzzin in the short term. RW is one of the last things the leafs need, especially a 40 point defensive liability

habs are holding out for a 1st/1st equivalent for anderson because someone is 100% gonna give them that for him.

Yeah, Montreal doesn't need LD and they definitely aren't trading Anderson for Muzzin. Also, Seattle isn't giving you a 2nd for Kerfoot when they're getting Bjorkstrand's for less. They don't even really need Kerfoot.

Habs decline this trade but if someone was going to trade a first for Anderson it would’ve happened already. His contract will be tough to move in this market and only gets worse as time goes by

seriously Right side has lost weber and petry in the last two years and we have a thin prospect pool on the right side on top of that.

Isls literally offerd the 13th pick plus for anderson and they said no, anderson is a core piece who isn't going anywhere

Habs aren't holding out for a 1st, they're simply not interested in trading him

There was a report that it was part of the package for Anderson. There was likely more going back to the isles, probably Romanov and/or their other first. It’s dumb to hold onto Anderson. He has a long injury history and is only getting older. His contract could be awful by the time the Habs are good again

I'm not sure you know how old he is, "part of a package with romanov" lol they got the 13th for romanov alone who has half the value of anderson
