Certainly more than that. Jets would want better prospects such as Coronato or Pelletier and start adding onto that

Phillips had 6 more points in 1 less game than Pelletier last year. He is arguably a better player and more NHL ready than Pelletier.

Doubtful the Jets are looking at moving Nikolaj Ehlers.

Chevy will move out Sheifele and Wheeler before Ehlers.

I'd imagine a young roster player+B/C Prospect and a 2023 1st round pick. I believe that's what Chevy is looking at.

So the above package but switch the '24 1st to a '23 1st? I am doing that in a heartbeat. Is Scheifele not a better player than Ehlers, or I am way off?

Scheifele is a great player, Not quite sure if he's as good as Ehlers. Just a lot of speculation of Chevy wanting to eventually move him. Sounds like he's a locker room cancer from what most Jet fans were telling me in the past.

With Dubois possibly being traded next summer it is extremely unlikely Chevy moves Scheifele before that situation is settled.

A lot depends on organizational path, ehlers probably running about second in most untouchable players off there elc. Will take quite a organizational shift to get to him in the tradeable assets category. Fanbase is craving a winner in the worst way, and gm and owner probably listening to a fault. So will be interesting times ahead.

Ehlers has improved, but he isn't Pastrnak. You wouldn't get Coronato. Pelletier and a 1st would be ample. Arguably, Ehlers best season was the shortened Covid season, and I wouldn't use that as my Parisian meter for future success. That isn't a knock on him as a player. He is consistently a 50-60pt player, which is better than most; however, it doesn't necessarily indicate he will be a 90 pts player next year.
