Makes zero sense for Detroit. Nylander is older and more expensive. The first is also late

As a red wing fan I’ll say it. Hell no. Raymond for nylander and late teen early 20 pick isn’t close to worth it

Raymond is younger much cheaper and had a very good rookie season. He is cost controlled for 5 years and will be much cheaper than the 8 million for Nylander. Nylander is a very good player but he is older and it makes no sense for Wings to trade Raymond as he fits rebuild and with coming contracts due is just what Wings need.

Lucas Raymond will be a younger version of William Nylander, And over the course of his career better. No way in hell Detroit moves Raymond for Nylander.
