Raty is a non-starter.

Is it? Monahan just got dumped for a first round pick. Bailey has more term and acts as a cap dump in this trade which diminishes the overall value

Desperate and flat out dumb are two different things. That's far too much to give

Adding mayfield is pointless if we are dealing miller AND taking on a cap dump on Bailey. Mayfield is a rental and will likely walk next season. Would rather replace him with a different piece that is younger

A full year of Miller is worth far more.

Way too much. My offer would be Mayfield, Bellows/Holmstrom/Bolduc (i.e. prospect not named Raty or Dufour), 1st for Miller (50%) and Poolman.

We don't need to dump Bailey to VAN if VAN retains salary.

Just make it Raty and a first and call it good, if you really think Lou is desperate.

Well retention is going to cost you. Raty and a 2023 first is good though

Mayfield, 1st and 3rd would probably make it work (maybe even with retention).

Oh look, another Vancouver fan who wants the Isles to solve their previous GM's mistakes through bully clickbait.

This isn't happening, get over it. Miller's probably leaving the Canucks after the season so they don't have the kind of leverage that you think they do. You're admitting that this is about Raty, and you want Raty but don't want to pay to play, so you come up with lazy clickbait to "get him" on this fake draft board. Enjoy not making the playoffs this season and trade Miller for a lot less.

No Raty, if that's the dealbreaker then oh well.

C'mon, the Flames are going to be a playoff team and that draft pick is going to be really low. Maybe the Isles are a playoff team. That trade is also a favor by the Canadiens. The isles don't NEED to trade for Miller. He's a luxury target. Flames HAD to make that move, Isles don't. Different paradigm.

Ridiculous price Canuck fans overrate him so much that’s more than he’s worth he’s literally a UFA after this season

Even if he walks at the TDL you can easily get a first round pick for him. If Chariot and Savard can get a 1st no way Mayfield can't get one

Plus, what happens if he breaks his leg 3 games into the season? I don't want that to happen, but then they'll get nothing for him, and watch him leave via free agency. Isles don't need to make any moves if they don't want to (especially with the potential out of Wahlstrom, Raty, and Dufour). It would be on the Canucks to move him, not the other way around.
