Rather just keep Zadina and hope he develops into something better with a new coach. I personally wouldn't do Zadina for JP straight up. Not going to add picks, and muzzy doesn't add any value to a team with about 8 better LHD prospects in the system.
Pysyk is out for the year.
Underrated return for Dvorak, I think Petrov is a pretty good prospect but Montreal fans are gonna hate on you for it.
Buffalo likely just keeps their guys, nothing in it for them.

Sure but Pysyk is probably out for the season with a torn achilles.

Don't really see a need for Buffalo to do that. Bryson is younger, costs less and can play either side on the 3rd pairing. With Dahlin on the right side they are pretty much set for RD with Joker and Boosh.

Dvorak value is probably fine if there is no retention

Zadina is a 3rd line winger who still is considered a prospect--being he is only 23--so he might have room for growth. Especially since Detroit fired their coach for among other reasons not being able to grow the prospect's games (Seider and Raymond were good from day 1 and arguably somewhat struggled down the stretch. Raymond especially.)

Puljujärvi at 24 and having 5 seasons of NHL experience is who he is a 15-20 goal scoring 3rd liner. He's almost twice as expensive of a cap hit and 3x the actual salary amount than Zadina for 22-23.

It's almost a completely lateral trade with depth throw ins and you want Detroit to give up a 2nd and a 3rd and pay more next summer for a RFA that is already overpaid?

Detroit would pass.

I like poolparty I'd take him but I'm not sure where they fit him in. That's not the deal I'd do for him but I think he can be an asset.

Dahlin-Lyubushkin
Power-Jokiharju
Samuelsson-Barrie
3 LHD/3 RHD
3 offensive defensemen 3 defensive defensive
It is difficult for me comprehend why the Sabres would not be better with Barrie than Bryson.

Some facts:

1. Edmonton have $300,000 in cap and is three forwards short of a full roster.
2. McLeod is still not signed.
3. Puljujärvi is a RFA with arbitration rights after this season, he needs a qualifying offer of at least $3 million to keep his rights.
4. Zadina is cost controlled for three more years at 62.5% of the cost of Puljujärvi and he does not have arbitration rights when that contract ends and the QO needed to keep him is only $2.73 million.
5. Münzenberger will never ever be signed to a NHL contract.

Conclusions drawn:

Edmonton is in deep **** cap-wise and needs to dump someone they can't afford to keep.
When you're desperate to sell you don't get full value.

Solution:

Detroit offers Givani Smith straight up for Puljujärvi. If you don't like it, you keep Puljujärvi and your cap and roster problems. It's not the job of Detroit to fix your problems for free.

Puljujarvi was 28, 10-13-23 last year before COVID and injuries derailed his offense. That's a pace of 29 goals and 67 points. Despite struggling with offensive production for the remained of the season, his defensive work was excellent, resulting in him finishing top-5 in the league in CF% Rel, SF% Rel, GF% Rel and xGF% Rel. That's difficult to do when you're being compared to guys like McDavid and Draisaitl.

All this to say that Puljujarvi will not be traded for cap purposes. If he gets moved at all it will be for value, and Zadina isn't that. Edmonton will get cap compliant some other way.
