EDM refuses easily. Aside from likely not being into another RD, Myers' contract is bloated and he's not even the type of D they'd need to improve the aspects of their D that's lacking.

Jackets would ABSOLUTELY take that deal if it is later in the year and they are sniffing around a playoff spot. Normally I wouldn't say Horvat is a great fit with this team, but for the price I don't know how they could say no.

The only hangups would be if the team starts stinking it up and doesn't want to add, and also the cap wouldn't work straight up. The Jackets would have to send back someone like Jake Bean or Gus Nyquist.
