Depends on if they want LD or RD

McCabe, Murphy, Dumba, Chycrun, Schenn, etc.

none of those D besides schenn make sense.

If leafs go get Murphy

Rielly-Murphy
Sandin-Brodie
Gio-Liligren

If Leafs get McCabe depending on which side they use him

Rielly-McCabe
Sandin-Brodie
Gio-Liligren
or
Rielly-Liligren
McCabe-Brodie
Gio-Sandin

So in a sense they all work just a matter of who they want

Cause the Hawks havent been what I call good. Put them on good teams and their numbers should go up

This was their numbers before the Hakws decided rebuild

they are also both over the age of 30

Edit: nvm, both 29 YO. Mccabe hasn't been good since he suffered a torn acchiles 2 or 3 years ago. Murphy just hasn't been good , not sure switching teams would do much.

The second chart I showed is both guys this season and despite the injury McCabe's stats are pretty good for a guy who just got back. Got a feeling on a better team those numbers will only go up. As lets be real Chicago's blue line isnt what I call stupendous. Put him with Brodie and McCabe probs goes back to 2020 form and makes a stupid good shutdown pairing

mccabe was great on buffalo, his underlying numbers haven't been good since joining Chicago

Well chicago wasnt what I call a great defensive team. In general last season was just odd as other than Debrincat, Hagel, and Kane nobody was really good for them especially Toews.

This year they look a bit better but in general as mentioned put Murphy or McCabe on a better team and they would probs thrive.

Liligren has been playing top pairing and has been pretty good. Only one bad play so far.

Now Sandin has been a like a bag of BeanBoozled you never know what your gonna get from him. That California trip made me go yeah your not top 4. Pittsburgh and Van game made me go well you play better as a LD

Either way I got a feeling they got till December to show they can do something before a trade is made

I don't even know who makes sense for Toronto. They should just stick with what they have. Reilly-Liljegren, Sandin-Holl, Giordan-Hollwell.

Hollowell? Are you joking? Playing Hollowell is not a good idea at all lol.

Well he has looked good with the Marlies and guys have come up and surprised before. While Hollowell still has potential (development path is very similar to Demelo's) yeah hes not what I call a full time solution

Dubas speaking to the media right after the Muzzin report suggests to me Muzzin's hockey career is probs done. While they wont say it most likely we will hear in February/March hes not fit to come back and like so Arizona will probs trade for that deal to reach the floor or they just keep him here on LTIR for the remainder of the deal

The ideal linemates for him are Kadri and Mangiapane

I know Sutter tried that line out but he should give it a longer look. Kadri can drive play, Mangiapane can finish

They already tried that line results werent great.

Sample size is small but Backlund-Toffoli-Huberdeau seems to be something they should full time explore.

He might be fine to try for a few games, but I’m the event that he doesn’t work, which is the likeliest option, then they will need to look elsewhere.

Small sample size. I’m not coming to a conclusion based on 20 min together

TWICE

He basically shattered 2 teams hopes of their 1st cup

*3 teams

I think the Sens were a lot closer to the cup in 2017 than 2007 tbh. One lucky bounce from the final, and I don’t think the Preds were beating either team from the East that year. Ducks were unfortunately a wagon
