I like Mona but JTC steps up in playoffs and fits the speed/style the avs play.

Also, that 1st won't likely happen. Appreciate you chose the '24 1st but I wouldn't move it for a mids rental

Hmm 1 more year of Johnsson or 3 more years of Armia with the same cap hit who at best is a completely lateral move. Gee, that sure is a toughy!

I think Monahan is very underrated since his two last injuries, and he have now a bounce back season. About the 1st round pick, I think it's the price at the moment to aquiring him, and Kent Hughes will not put the price down.

Depends on the team, the tempo the avs play at will expose Mona's shortcomings and lack of speed

Armia is extremely way better than Johnsson, and NJ need some offense who are able to play on SH.

Dvorak is no better than Suter. Pius has the best takeaway-giveaway stats in Detroit and Dvorak has twice as many giveaways as takeaways. Dvorak would at best be a 3rd line centre in Detroit and giving up a 2nd round pick for something we don't need isn't going to happen.

Awful for non Habs teams. Not much thought on other teams needs or cap. For example why do the Leafs want the one assist Foegle at 2.75m? or Detroit wanting the middling Dvorak at 4.45?
Armia isn't worth his contract now or in the future.

- Edmonton need a defenseman who can carry the defensively, and Edmounson is a good option. About the cap, they have no difference.

- Toronto need somes physical players who is good defensively, and Foegele is this type of player.

- Detroit need a long-term centerman who is great defensively and can play great on the PK, and Dvorack is a great option. Also, I think many Red Wings fans love to overrate Suter, and the cost is good because Detroit will likely been a top team in 2025 and giving a 2025 2nd round pick is like giving something who doesn't really have a value.

- Colorado need a 2C on their line-up and Monahan is a good option. He have now a good season, but the price is ''expensive'' because a lot of teams will likely ask the price for Monahan and Kent Hughes will have some fun to make a auction.

- Washington need a winger on their team (Wilson & Oshie are injured) who don't have a bad contract, and Dadonov is a cheap option.

''Offense who are able to play SH'' means a two-way offense (like Hischier).

Sorry, your logic is just slanted (falsely) so that Montreal gets a get return. Leafs have no desire for a low scoring expensive forward...period. Same with Jersey.
Wings or any team who aren't trading for players would prefer to have 4.45m cap to acquire a player in the summer than the very middling Dvorak, and expect the Wings to give a second rounder too?

The fact that you have traded so many players with term from the Habs, you must know the Habs don't want these guys.

Ok but Suter fits that bill far better than Dvorak almost identical production and he's cheaper. Detroit isn't giving up picks for a worse more expensive player.

There isn't a shred of need for Armia....give me the AJ expiring contract every day of the week. Armia stinks on ice....I don't want $3.4m eaten up by that.

Devils have the 4th best PK in the league.... Hischier, Bastian, McLeod, Mercer, Sharangovich, Haula....what are you talking about?

So why are you making that trade if you believe aroma is better? You are just a biased fan that fails to look at both sides of a trade

Devils currently rank 4th in PK%, 2nd in shorthanded GF%, and 1st in 4v5 xGA/60 per both NST and Money Puck. The Devils do not need to make this awful trade.
