The Caps are so injured that rebuilding should not be the first focus for the team but if they do:

- Too much for Oshie, his contract term and NTC will make it hard for any team to find him appealing.
- Too much for Mojo, i'd only expect a third
- Too little for Jensen, retention on his contract would make him worth a 1st+ to any contender given his Top 4 ability and cheap deal
- Too much for Eller, his fall-off from his 2018-19 seasons makes me think that he'd only return a 3rd, even with retention.
- No real need to trade Hathaway if Vecchione is the replacement, deal NAK for whatever you can get and let Hath be a stable 4th line guy.

Colorado probably accepts that. Maybe the 2nd is a little high, but I’d probably still take it.

neither can play Centre though. Value is fine but positional need isnt there. I would rather do the Eller trade

Jensen would get a 1st + especially considering you're eating half his salary.

Hathaway would get at least a 2nd. Teams would line up for him and his play style.

even if they sell zero chance they sell every single expiring guy. Would expect Eller, Orlov, Jensen, Sheary to get moved but thats about it. Zero chance they trade Oshie or MoJo without the players specifically asking for it and I don't think either of them would. Milano is the exact kind of guy a rebuilding/reloading team should keep. Guys like Hath and Gustafsson wouldn't return too much and play important roles as mentors for the younger guys. As much as people love to try to maximize every asset, its not a good idea to ice an AHL team for the last 30 games.
