Laughable. But pretty typical TMLACGM.

Overpaying for a depth winger is very typical. Kuzmenko isn't worth a 1st.

Kuzmenko is 26 years old and has 21 points in 21 games. WHY is Vancouver trading him? Answer? They're not. The End.

Maybe that fact that he is an FA after this season and he tells Vancouver he wants to test the market. Not saying they should/want to trade him but his FA status would be one reason

Maybe? Anyone can say that. Maybe McDavid wants out of Edmonton? Maybe Matthews wants out of Toronto? Maybe Kuzmenko wants to stay in Vancouver? Nah. Canucks must trade him to Toronto!

Weak take by you.

You don't think that the Leaf's and Oil will listen to offers if both those guys say they are going to test the market? You do know that Vancouver are shopping their Captain who is UFA this summer and on pace for his best season as a pro. Your take is weak and clear attempt to troll others that give a valid response. You should call the NHL and get them to cancel the trade deadline because teams never trade pending UFA

If this is your team, you have to get rid of Kerfoot. That would give you 6.7 million to upgrade somewhere.

1. I will point out that with the maximum 50 contracts, the Leafs currently CANNOT sign Knies. A contract as to go before that happens.

2. The Canucks are more likely to move Pearson than Kuzmenko if they make a move at all. And if they do that, it isn't going to be for another forward. Their blueline still needs a lot of work imo - albeit, Bear does make.it better.

This Leafs fan's 50 cents thank you.

I mean he is a UFA it is entirely possible Canucks clear the house, it's not THAT unreasonable. We'll see how the rest of the season shapes out, but it is entirely possible they move him at the deadline for a 1st in a stacked draft. And for the record I don't really care about having him on the Leafs like in this post but it is quite possible they trade him

“Depth winger” who has 20 points in 21 games and would be your highest scoring player outside of the big 4

What’s a near PPG player on an extremely valuable contract for this season worth in your eyes then?

A hot start means little he's still an unknown. Barbarov did nothing in TO but is great in SJ and just as often as that happens, guys show well to start and then disappear just as quickly. I need a lot more of a sample size to be convinced Kuzmenko is worth a 1st.

Never base a judgement on a small sample size. He's getting pretty offensive usage in Vancouver and I don't think his game would fit that well with the big 4, he's not very good defensively, is smaller and doesn't really grind guys down and get pucks well enough to be what is needed in the top 6 LW. If he fell to the 3rd line in TO, is he going to score as much? It's a major risk to send a 1st in a stacked draft for a guy who has had a hot start on a team scoring more than they should.

Kuzmenko is literally a point per game player and clueless Laurence Olivier says he's a depth winger. LOL

Not good defensively you say? I thought so too, but that assessment is wrong

Kuzmenko was an ufa last off season and chose to sign with Vancouver. He could have signed with any other team. If Van wants to, they can re-sign Horvat and Kuzmenko and add a couple more forwards. Maybe Bunting and the living legend Kerfoot.

I agree. There is literally nothing else to work with though. You said he was bad defensively which is not true

$13,593,750 for Horvat, Kuzmenko Bunting and the Legend that is Kerfoot and still having Hogs and Bear as RFA and replace/sign Scheen. I'm sure you will fit them all in and they will take sweetheart deals
