No point in the lankinen deal waste of assets for a very small marginal gain

Hawks don't need anymore D prospects or young D players...they are loaded with them. They need forward prospects and honestly, Torgersson isn't that interesting. Late 1st or 2nd and good forward prospect is likely the price.

Too much from the Jets for Toews, but the others might work.

2nd plus for Lankinen?!

This is an overpay for Lankinen, but in no way is it outrageous. Lankinen has been incredible this year and probably is playing himself into a starting role with another team next year. So, by no means is it a marginal gain. Preds don’t have another backup goalie though, so I doubt the trade Lankinen

It’s 7 games let’s not over react here

There's no point in giving up those picks for a backup when we only have 3 back-to-backs after the deadline... So we are basically paying a 2nd for a goalie that will probably play only 5ish games as they probably want to rest Helle unless we are in a battle for home ice.
