Why are we bringing the Quinn Hughes to NJ narrative back?

An excellent question. It's gone off here today like wildfire tears of joy

Should be targetting something more realistic...Josh Anderson for 8 first rounders work?

Still no interest in Yet Another Winger for the Jackets. Particularly since he's getting worse instead of better.

Canucks are below %.500, Horvat (captain)/ Kuzmenko UFAs at end of season, Demko on IR, etc etc -->> Looking like VAN will miss playoffs need a retool/ rebuild -->> People make VAN selling at the Deadline ACGM --->>> People trading everything of value on Canucks "hey it would be cool to see all Hughes brothers together --->>> people argue about value of Quinn to Devils and make there own ACGM (We are Here)

Probably Matt Duchene 2017 deal that brought Girard and Bowers to Colorado... both were probably top-100 through (not two top-25). Same for Bobby Ryan 2013 trade. To get two top-25 prospects, you'd probably have to go back to Eric Lindros 1992 deal.

He is a center and he is not getting worse.

He is a center and he is not getting worse.

As he is entering what should be his prime years, during a period in which the Devils have been on a historically awesome offensive run, he has a mere 4 points in 25 games - a level of failure to produce he hasn't seen since his rookie year. While the rest of his teammates were going gangbusters. At age 24. I think it's safe to say that's a very strong indicator of him getting worse rather than better.
