Ottawa hangs up rather quick. If leafs want Cat at 50% you’re looking at Liljegren + Knies + 1st at least.

That garbage doesn't get Larkin at full value, Let alone at ($2,100,000 retained) Yzerman has already said that he's not moving Larkin unless it's a massive overpay.

Maybe a bit but leafs fill their biggest need at 2LW. Move a good prospect and a late 1st. Liljegren would be tough to move, but he’s playing bottom pair mins so not a massive loss and make another move for a decent bottom pair RD (Schenn) and leafs look mighty tough to beat. Personally, don’t think Cat is who they would be looking for anyway

Lily won’t be moved and schenn is anti-keefe, he won’t fit in are system. I’d Still pass on that trade. Not paying a potential top 6 forward or a potential top 4 defencemen. And a first plus there’s a very good draft this year
