I think it is to a team in the Pacific like the Kings, Knights, or Oilers

Everyone says no. The reason teams haven't pulled the trigger yet is Chychrun's injury history. He has never played a full 82 game season. That fact brings his value down. Arizona is not going to fleece anyone.

Apparently it’s LA. To be announced after game as to not over shadow Dustin brown retirement

I think the trades proposed are all a little under valued. A 7.5 million dollar top 4 (or better) two way D for 4.5 million over two more seasons after this one.

The Boston trade is probably the most fair, and I'm sure Boston fans will cry that it is too much, but the 1st this year is late, so with the cap dumps coming back, this is fair. The question is, what can Boston do with the free cap space now that the top 2 prospects and two firsts are gone?

LA makes the most sense in my opinion, but I have not seen any outright confirmation of it yet. Leafs and Oilers have also been mentioned, but it's tough to take these Leafs connections seriously anymore. I could see Edmonton making a trade, but LA is likely going to push hard and can outbid the Oilers.

I'd be surprised if we included Bjornfot, and I don't think that we'd give up two firsts, which in the current mode of thinking (if I can dignify it by calling that) removes Petersen.

I still think that the most likely combination is our 2024 first, 2023 second, Alex Turcotte and Sean Walker (necessary because of the cap implications).

i hope it's the Ottawa deal but i don't think that's enough to acquire him

                  I disagree. I think that's enough.

Can guarantee you two things. Boston would never pay that. And Chychrun is nowhere near as good defensively as you think he is. He’s below average there. His game is offense. His D is better than Barrie’s but that takes so little.

Lol no. He's underpaid and in his prime. Couldnt be a much better asset for a contender. You're a leafs fan so I assume you don't understand the value of an asset that isnt making over 10M

I'm guessing LA and ARZ have come to an agreement to a tentative trade, and ARZ is probably getting final offers from other teams like EDM and TOR. LA is probably going to come out on top, but I assume the trade will be finalized tomorrow or Monday. Or maybe the user above is right about it being a done deal.

Glad it's finally almost happening though.

I think you are on the right track.
                  Leafs fan thinking:
Asset over 8 million: they are called trade dumps. Bums. Worthless crap.
Asset under 5 million but playing in the bottom half of the roster: Underrated star. Does more than anyone realizes, and we all need to watch more.
Asset who seems to be playing good in the minors: Untouchable. Will be better than Howe, Gretzky, and Lidstrom combined.
Asset who was playing good in the minors but still hasn't made the roster at age 23: High ceiling stud who just needs a chance on a lesser team. Will only be traded if the other team offers two 1sts and their top prospects.

You think Fabian Lysell is an untouchable, a late 1st with question marks. The Bruins dont have the assets to trade for Chychrun. Its 2 1sts and an A prospect.

I said they won’t pay it. Has nothing to do with what you think of Lysell.
