I liked both. But to me Elvis gets the edge over Dylan. Of course Dylan is the much better songwriter.

Probably not worth it for the hawks honestly. Would rather undercut you for BOB if this is really what was happening

laugh Bobrovsky wanted out of Columbus, he sure as hell isn't going back there the way they're playing now.

And it's a cold day in hell, That Bill Zito deals Anton Lundell and a 2nd and 3rd round pick to move Bobrovsky's contract.

Hawks might consider this. Four picks including a '23 1st would be right in Davidson's sweet spot. And the cap hit won't be an issue for at least two of the remaining 4 years on Elvis's deal.

I MIGHT be able to be talked into a roll of the dice to see if Elvis bad year was the outlier and he can bounce back to the form of his prior 3 years. But at this point looking at 4 more years @ 5.4 per....that is a pretty big gamble. The only interesting pieces are a mid 20's pick and a mid 40's pick which are nice, but more like you are gambling you won't be eating 2 or MAYBE 3 years of that contract. WIth four years remaining on the Elvis deal, I would want the LA 1st, the Columbus 2nd, one of Ceulemans or Del Bel Belluz, and I would still be hesitant even with all of that. I just don't know that Elvis bounces back to form playing in front of what is very likely to be a really bad Hawks team.

Yeah zero chance lundell is traded to dump bob. They’ll just buy him out before that ever happens.

LOL Lundell isn't happening.

And if my memory serves me right, Bobrovsky wanted out of Columbus. And he's not going back to a Columbus team that's the joke of the league right now.

Why the hell would the jackets pay that much to dump Elvis. Maybe if he has another bad year next year

Ummmm, you sure about that? Most of the info from what I remember said Jarmo tried to sign Bob to an extension but Bob had already told Jarmo to go pound sand prior to his last season here.

As for the trades themselves, neither the Panthers or the jackets are paying that much to move bad contracts.

It is literally true they didn't offer him a contract in 2019, though. They knew he was gone.
