You're 100% correct. I bet if you looked at each fan base, the percentage of fans that are very biased vs. *reasonably* unbiased would be pretty similar across the board. The more people in the fan base, the more voices that are out to lunch.

EP40 is better than Aho in every single aspect of the game, Pettersson is Top 10 in NHL scoring while also being a Selke finalist, Aho isn't even at a point per game in the regular season and never finished more than 2 points over in a season, EP40 is also much better defensively. Aho is closer to Bo Horvat's level than he is to Elias Pettersson who is a Top 5 player in the NHL.

How exactly is Aho worth more than Pettersson? Pettersson is a year younger, better offensively, just as good if not better defensively, and has performed better in his career despite being on a much worse team. Aho is great, but you’re just about the only person who thinks he’s better than Pettersson
