This is hard to predict yeah? Hyper competitive with a lot of question marks.

Both teams have vulnerabilities like everybody else, but they’re those type of vulnerabilities that are curious when the style of play changes during the first round.

Both teams added substantial offense in Meier and Tarasenko/Kane, both teams rely on youth for quality minutes, the Devils much more so, but both teams also have some vets who have played tons of quality playoff minutes such as Palat, Kreider/Kane/Tarasenko, etc. Both teams have threats from the defense, both teams have goalies who have played as many NHL playoff games as I have.

Imma say this series is more heavily impacted by recent events? One where demoralization sets in a bit faster and lingers a bit longer. Perhaps both teams lack a tad of team defense - and both teams have very potent wingers. Both teams have youth in high end roles.

Gotta say Devils pull through in this one but a prediction here is so hard.

I feel goaltending could be the deciding factor and it gives NYR an advantage as Shesterkin has gone up against

Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Tampa and did pretty well for himself.

Other than that I cant say for sure whose gonna win but its probs going 6 or 7

New Jersey in 6 simply because I don't like the Rangers.

Rangers in 7, Shesterkin is better, both teams have a jam packed offence and good defence, I think it comes down to goaltending and Shesterkin's better

Devils in 4 because I'm biased

Tough call I give New Jersey the edge on paper, but they are an inexperienced team in the playoffs that also lacks goaltending that can steal games in the playoffs which New York has. If Shesterkin can steal games this is the Rangers series to lose if he plays like he did at stretches during the season where he struggled the Devils could move right past them.
