I'd take Lindstrom over Clague since he's right handed. The Wings are high on Soderblom and I don't know if Yzerman would part with him. I seriously doubt that Buffalo would do that,

Red Wings need a young right handed center so think they might. It's a pretty fair trade. I tried to get size in the bottom six.

And I think Gustav Lindström needs a change. He had a down year. I think Wings will bring in a few guys. I traded for him cus he's a cheap option for the Sabres to play in the third pair. I locked up all their defense.

It may be a fair trade but that doesn't mean either team will accept it. Soderblom has a unique skill set similar to Tage Thompson and that's why Detroit might be hesitant to trade him. At the same time he is unproven and I don't think Adams is going to give up a Savoie and a 2nd rd pick on an unproven 6th round pick.

What would you want in return for Parayko?

I'm not interested in trading him. I'm interested in finally giving him a proper partner.

Can't see Skinner waiving his NMC for Chicago with Buffalo ready to compete again, but if he does, the Hawks probably consider this. Getting out of the last 3 years of the Jones contract and a top 15 pick in this draft - worth it!

Clearly they would reject all but the Wings trade.
Skinner for Jones one for one is very fair. The Hawks get a player who is aging very well with back to back career best pts.
Jost for Sisson one for one. Jost over 82 games would have 10 go and 30 pts v Sisson 12 go and 30 pts. Jost is younger and less expensive.
Buffalo would still probably not make the trades as they are very happy with Skinner and Jost.
The Detroit trade is fine, but NO to the balance of the trades even to the modified trades suggested above.

@NHLLGRW your profile suggests that you do not favor a particular team, but these are all aweful for the Sabres.
