Would need to add more to get Laffy, that is if NYR wants to move them (Probably not). He'd also cost more to keep here if we got him.
Wolf is pretty untouchable in Calgary, you'd have better luck going after Levi in Buffalo and even then you'd have to add more.
FINALLY, someone who understands we can wait on PLD and not lose anything.

You're not getting Lafreniere for a B/C prospect, a mid 1st, and a cap dump.

Anyone can rebuild fast if teams donate players. Typical Habs post having absolutely 1 sided trades in favor of the Habs

The value on those 4-years RFA contracts seems very low to me. Lafreniere especially...no-way he signs that long for that much.

Drury passes without even much thought about it and then signs Laffy to a new contract.

Funniest part is they think the Rangers will trade Laffy due to cap issues but this trade is more expensive for the Rangers with Dvorak, a 3C they have zero need for. Just nonsense.

PLD declines. If he's a UFA the number in the front of his AAV is a 9, not a 7

I think he's too small for the NHL. You think he's 100% a NHLer. I guess we'll see who's right next season.

In fact, can you name a few under 6' NHL goalie who had success in the last few years? Because except for Saros, i don't think i know one.

They think he's the next Carey Price at 5'11 because he's good in the AHL. I think he's the next Halak at best. Fringe 1B goalie.

Giving me Knight vibes in Florida. I heard Wolf likes to party.

Right, because Dustin Wolf is the reason the Flames are not in the playoffs.

I understand height plays a factor, but if you watch Wolf play, height isn't a problem. He's been elite at every level. Who says he can't be Saros?

Can you name a goalie that has won MVP of the AHL?

I just verified, last time a goalie won MVP in the AHL was LaBarbera in 2004.

Since 1990, only 1 player won AHL MVP and became a NHL star. That's Spezza in 2005.

Yeah and do you know what Spezza and Wolf have in common that the other MVPs between them don't? They won AHL MVP at age 22. Typically its been older guys who have spent their career in the minors.

I'm clearly not going to change your mind on this, so you rely on height being the only factor that matters, I'll look at his on ice play.

I agree most MVPs are older, but could still make the NHL. But another thing they have in common is size, as most of them are under 6'. Spezza is 6'3.

Also, why isn't there more small goalie in the NHL? Size isn't the only factor that matters, but it matters a lot, even more so for goalies.

I don't hate Wolf, i loved Halak and he was under 6' too. I even said he could be the next Saros, but odds are against him. I wouldn't bet on him becoming 1G and you shouldn't too.
