    Benning isn't around anymore, you can't trick Van FO with French future considerations. Benning might have thought you were offering RHP but Allvin would decline.

    Canucks decline. Not retaining and paying a 3rd + 4th to dump Myers. Most likely is they pay his bonus and then dump him with a 4th or 3rd depending on the market.

    Funny how you think Benning was anything more than a Aquilini puppet. His press conferences might as well have been a Canucks fan being fed a script. Canucks made an awful deal for Hronek. Nothing has changed. Prepare yourself for a terrible UFA signing and paying to dump Garland/Boeser. Hey but at least you have that 3 % chance at Bedard amirite

    I think trading any young defenseman will give me stress about another Sergachev / McDonagh debacle…

    Wouldn’t surprise me that if MTL trade a guy like Harris (who is far more likely to be moved) then he magically becomes a top pairing guy with his new team….

    Anderson trade is not at all comparable to Bjorkstrand. Bjorkstrand was actually good. Devils aren't taking on that awful cap hit.
