Since it's your 1st post I'll say welcome and keep posting!

A few helpful hints might be to use the 2023 DET team to start. The contracts are up to date and the cap ceiling jumps up $1M. You also don't need to worry about Bertuzzi's retain salary as another example.

Edvinsson is a non starter. Stevie won't trade a 1st for a goalie when he's biding time for Cossa. Chicago declines.

Welcome to CFACGM.

Curious to see the responses to the LA-Detroit trade.

That's a heavy package coming from LA. But also.... Edvinsson.

Welcome.
I would not do any of these trades if I'm Yzerman (except Chicago).
1.) LA's package is very nice, but I'm huge on Edvinsson and Wallinder being our LDs of the future.
2.) DeBrincat should be no more than a 17OA + a 2nd IMO. He's gotten worse. Yes they traded 7OA for him, but Korchinski would fall to like 16OA in this draft.
3.) Veleno does not fetch this much.
4.) We already have Cossa as our starter of the future. Not a tandem of the future. That pick is looking better and better each day.

Ask me again? Where Roy and Vilardi have anywhere close to the value of Edvinsson and the Vancouver 2nd 43rd overall pick.

Welcome!
I personally would like the kings trade if it was just Roy for the 2nd. Edvinsson I think is too valuable right now to the wings. Plus Roy has history playing along side Olli.

I would love getting debrincat, just unsure what it would take

Welcome to CF.

At first glance that Boston trade looks like an overpay. Then when you consider where those picks are, it’s not quite as impressive. Still would be an interesting haul.

Regardless Boston has no desire to trade Swayman. They may end up being forced to but they will bust their butt to try to avoid that. If they do they would be looking for a 1st this year or high end prospect as the primary piece.

Everyone is being overly nice, go through this guys comments, he’s already screaming at people.

Embarrassing that you think Veleno would return that much, especially to a rebuilding Chicago. And just a brutal idea to trade Edvinsson

The level of nice that is going on here is entirely unusual and as you become acclimated to ACGM it will turn into constant trivial bickering between fan bases and incessantly regurgitated rhetoric.

Welcome to CapFriendly ACGM, though!

Hawks aren't doing two 2nds and a third for an underwhelming former first. If you want to talk about an actual first, like the Isles 1st, there probably is some combo of a pair of 2nds and a 3rd that would interest the Hawks (since they have 4 2nds and 2 3rds to make all kinds of combos with).
