Counter offer, Knies for Zadina. Zadina has more NHL points, therefore more valuable right?

EDIT: Seider behind Schenn on the depth chart lol

    A 7th rounder for Matthews (50%) and Marner (75%).

    I don't agree. Matthews/Larkin as 1, 2Cs trumps defense to me

Remove Seider from Detroit's lineup. Tell me how the defense looks.
    Walman - ?
    Edvinsson - Chiarot
    Maata - ?

Our next best RHD is/was Mark Pysyk? Our best RHD prospect is still in J20 SHL.
Then you realize that we have exactly 2 top line forwards, and a questionable 2nd line.

Make a trade or sign a free agent, or draft 1

Oh, the "figure it out yourself" approach. Classic one-sided trade thoughts.
    - Trade for one means moving more assets. If you want to replace Seider, it costs an arm and a leg and prospects/draft capital that sets the team back. Trade less, get worse player back... economics.
    - Sign free agent means over paying and giving more term than value. Also probably won't get a 1 D, and again team "needs" are a thing.
    - Draft one I am sure SY will this year. I personally wouldn't be opposed to ASP, Reinbacher, Willander, Strbak, Allen, Gibson. They also won't be ready for another several years. Restart the rebuild.

On the flip side, Toronto gets an established center for the next 8 years, and a cornerstone RD they now can afford for the next 8 years. They get worse at 1C, but vastly improve their defense. They also have more flexibility considering 8.7 + 9 = 17.7M over 8 seasons for two great players is more economically viable than 15M for 8 years of one center.

One sided trade? Come on, I traded you Matthews a top 3 player in the world

I also simply called it interesting (seider and a 1st for matthews, not Larkin) and said the trade proposed
in this agm wasn't good for Detroit.

rofl, DET would not do Larkin for Mathews 1 for 1, mathews will want north of 12M, Larkin makes 8.7 and 10ish point difference between the 2 is not worth 4M+ in cap.

Lol I did read the post, you just didn’t comprehend what I said. One sided “view/thoughts”

You are looking at it one sided.

With this trade… TOR addresses term, top 6 F, top pair D….

With this trade… DET establishes a bonafide 1C…

and you said in regards to finding a replacement top D, “draft one or sign one or trade for one”

That is literally one sided. You voiced its on Detroit to find one, not TOR’s problem. Doesn’t matter that Matthews is better than Larkin, that’s not the point.

You were quoting my post and only my post

I said seider and a 1st for matthews was Interesting

I said seider and Larkin for matthews was bad for Detroit

    My trade idea keeps Larkin.

    Take your complaints elsewhere
