Description
With reports the Flyers want to trade for more players like Tippett (young players who might need a change of scenery), I decided to look at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 drafts and find some young players who maybe havent worked as well as their teams might have thought. These are some of the names I came up with and I would appreciate a comment if you know any of their values!

P.S. theres some guys I don't know too much about apart from their stats and stuff so don't get mad if theres a guy in here completely untouchable

I’d say Glass is a guy that the Preds won’t move. Wouldn’t call him untouchable, but they just have no reason to do it.

Hate to be that guy but Leafs likely wouldn't trade Lilly for anything short of Konecny. Robertson could probably be had for somebody that could contribute now, like Laughton?

There's basically no chance that Erik Brannstrom's value in a trade would ever match the value he brings to the Sens on the ice. They'd be really dumb to trade him, they basically can't win that deal imo.

Same with JBD to a far lesser extent. He's gonna be a useful 6-7 for cheap this year.

Rule #1 in ACGM is ignore anything a Leafs fan says because they will convince you their average prospect is worth McDavid lol
Rule #2 in ACGM is that absolutely every fan will over value their own players lol

Who knows wtf the Jets are planning, they really are a dysfunctional organization and Ville can't be pleased with where he's at.
I have no idea what Ville is really worth, maybe a mid to late 2nd I'm thinking but then is it really worth it to trade him if that's all he's worth, probably not, the Jets completely bomb the 2nd round most drafts anyway... lol

As you can see the Leafs fan above thinks their average at absolute best prospect can be worth Laughton lol. But seriously most of these guys probably aren’t going to be traded from their teams unless an offer comes that overpays to get them which the Flyers don’t seem interested in doing. I think they will get guys back but through packing them and picks for tradeable chips like TK, Hayes, Provy, etc. Detroit fans like 2023 17OA, 2023 2nd, and Zadina for TK which I like a lot. CBJ fans have done Foudy and a 2nd for Hayes with some retention. So stuff like that would make sense

Zadina for another player who could use a change of scenery and a 3rd round pick.

thing with Branny and JBD is that both of them are worth more to the Sens than they’re worth on the market. Branny is really underrated and the Sens have an opportunity to lock him up cheap before the market catches on. JBD on an ELC is a really nice option at 6/7th dman. the Sens wouldn’t trade them for these, but Branny’s market value is probably around that of a 2nd + 3rd + a 4th, and JBD around a 2nd, or maybe two 3rds. reality is that neither of those guys are “need change of scenery” for the Sens. a bit behind schedule, but no real reason to move either of them

Comtois isn't worth a lot at the moment and is a moveable piece, though he does fit the definition for the type of player that Verbeek wants, so we'd be in no rush to move him I don't believe.

His value is probably just a mid round pick, he could be available as part of a package for a defenseman as well.

As a rule for defensemen, we'd be looking for big guys who are good in their own zone. Medium term or less on the left, but we've got vacancies on the right. Definitely need the "right" guys though.

I would move jokiharju if we got a defensive guy to pair with power, a second is probably right. Problems are- apparently the Sabres front office really like him, and Lyubushkin is the only other right shot d on the roster.

I think Robertson, Turcotte, Addison, and Zadina are fairly interesting and somewhat realistic targets.

I would optimistically state that Filip Zadina is worth a late 2nd round pick. Realistically though, a late 3rd.

For some reason the Sabres love Joki, so I don't think they would be looking to move him. The Flyers would have to request that he be included in a bigger deal for a player they are really interested in.

Thank you guys for all the replies so far. Just wanted somewhat of an idea of their values and if they'd even be available in the first place and thats what you guys gave me. Thanks!

I would say the Preds would move Glass if it meant an upgrade at C coming back, but it's highly unlikely they move him.

As for the Habs players (Harris & Primeau) MTL needs Young RD, G, & C & draft picks. Harris would be around a late 1st imo, Primeau maybe a 3rd or a 4th/ both? idk. Ideally for MTL maybe work out a deal around both and the Habs acquire Hart, depending on the cost to balance.
