2$4,000,000
1$1,200,000
1$971,250
1$874,125
Trades
1.
LAK
  1. Edmundson, Joel ($1,750,000 retained)
  2. 2024 5th round pick (SJS)
Additional Details:
Conditional 5th round pick : LA receive the better pick between the SJ & MTL 5th
MTL
  1. Hughes, Jack [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
Los Angeles can add one AHLer/ECHLer to balance the contract slot
2.
LAK
  1. Vejmelka, Karel
Additional Details:
Not an important trade ! Focus on the first one
ARI
  1. Durzi, Sean
  2. Turcotte, Alex
Additional Details:
Durzi probably traded for a goaltender
Ignore the value of this trade, even tho I think it's fair
3.
LAK
  1. Gaunce, Brendan
  2. 2024 3rd round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
Los Angeles would focus on getting cap space to sign Gabe Vilardi, so I would expect the return to be quite low
CBJ
  1. Arvidsson, Viktor
Additional Details:
Apparently Arvidsson is on the trade block, and Columbus are looking for top 6 help

Chiarot isn't worth a 1st + 3rd + 4th ...
GMs overpay for big body veteran ... I don't think Eddy is WORTH it, I think his value is decent
But everything depends on his back

We’ll pass on Edmundson, thanks. Spence/Bjornfot can fill that role and are asset free.

Arvidsson returns a lot more than an AHLer and mid/late 3rd.

Only deal here Kings listen to is Arizona. Would be willing to swap Durzi, but Kings have made it known Turcotte isn’t for sale, so swap him for a pick.

Misconception about Eddy being healthy or not, Dude was mourning his dad more time then he was on LTIR
Eddy's played more or less the same pace game wise getting into the 60's on average.
55 in MTL year 1 Injured Back to start the season but went to SCF as top 4 guy anyways
24 in MTL year 2 Injured Back to start the season and his dad died in January keeping him out until March
61 in MTL year 3 Injured Back to start the season

His production for better or worse is always the same outside CAR where he had a career year and they all hate him for some reason ?
He's neither better nor worse then when he won the SC with STL
There's a trusted source below where you can check into my claims or use your own
But dont buy into False Narratives like even some of the smartest people on here had
I've been pointing this out a while now and outside Back issues that always flare up in Training Camp /preparing for the season, he's a work horse defensively especially in the playoffs.
Whether the 6'5 hulking Dman will be read for the playoffs isnt in Question , nor is his play but instead him being chastised for taking the time to Mourn his Father for 2 months.
That is the Negative they've assigned to his Value is that 1 season he didnt play more then 50 games.

Bjorkstrand returned a 3rd & 4th and he is better, younger & had terms compared to Arvidsson. Not saying he is worth a 3rd, I don't know what the return would be considering LA need to make room
Y'all were saying it wouldn't take **** to move Petersen contract, in fact it costed a lot.

im not knocking him down for him mourning a family member, but the guy had recuring back issue for 3 years now. All i'm saying is that i belibe team will be cautious with edmundson. I personally love the guy but i dont think you can expect a chiarot return at all. hope i'm wrong.

I agree with you, but Jack Hughes was drafted 51th OA, it isn't exactly an unprotected 1st, Ty Smilanic (former 3rd round pick) and a 4th
But I wouldn't be surprise either that Edmundson ends up on IR most of the season

An injuried Arvidsson was traded for a 2nd and 3rd. Now a healthy and scoring Arvidsson is going for way less? How so?

Edit: don't want any part of Edmundson unless he's 50% retained and has a 1st round pick attached to him (not talking the 5th OA).

Last part isn’t funny, I will ignore it
Arvidsson had terms when he got traded for a 2nd + 3rd, and NSH didn’t have to trade him. Context is everything, people on this site don’t understand that

Yet Edmondson coming off 2 injury riddled seasons and going into a UFA year can get a recent 2nd round pick? But Arvidsson while healthy only gets an AHL player and 3rd. Context is definitely not understood on these trades.

I will do the Eddy trade, but for the kings perspective maybe swap the 5th to a 4rth?
