Trades
1.
WPG
  1. Arvidsson, Viktor
  2. Byfield, Quinton
  3. Durzi, Sean
  4. Vilardi, Gabriel [RFA Rights]
  5. 2023 2nd round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
Jets get Byfield who still has a high ceiling and could still be a 1C. Vilardi is a top 6 winger that could maybe play C (and is also a right shot which the jets don't have much of). Durzi is a young top 4 D. And Arvidsson is a cap dump but still has some juice. Could be a middle 6 scorer.
LAK
  1. Dubois, Pierre-Luc [RFA Rights]
  2. Hellebuyck, Connor ($3,083,333 retained)
Additional Details:
PLD - 8x8.5M
Helle - 7x8.5

Kings get their future 1C (if he doesn't want out in 2 years) and their goalie that will help them get passed the Oilers in the playoffs.
2.
WPG
  1. Drury, Jack
  2. Morrow, Scott [Reserve List]
  3. 2023 1st round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
Drury has asked for a trade and can become a good middle 6 centre. And Scott Morrow is another good RHD prospect to add to the cupboards.
CAR
  1. Scheifele, Mark
Additional Details:
They need scoring and Scheif can do that. And I think Rod can unlock the best version of Scheif.
3.
WPG
  1. 2025 4th round pick (COL)
COL
  1. Wheeler, Blake ($4,125,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Wheeler is still a solid point producer with out his flaws on defense... but if you put him in a good room you will get great value for just a 4th. Can be a solid middle 6 winger that can play the PP.
4.
WPG
CHI
  1. Schmidt, Nate
  2. 2025 4th round pick (COL)
5.
WPG
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (DET)
6.
WPG
  1. Swayman, Jeremy [RFA Rights]
BOS
  1. 2023 1st round pick (CAR)

Hellebuyck = Durzi, Ardvisson, second
Dubois = MAYBE Vilardi
So there is AT LEAST a Byfield too much
And I have not even talked about the Scheiffle trade yet

You'd have to give the hawks a first to take on that much cap. There might be a team that'd give up a 4th for him but the hawks have no use for him.

Kings and Canes get fleeced so hard here. Scheifele is a rental FFS. Morrow is a non starter. What Buffbry said with the Red Wings trade. I doubt Boston trades Swayman. They'll likely try to unload Ullmark first. Not easy with his 5 mil cap hit.

I actually think the Kings trade is a fair offer. LA should accept that.

Zero chance in hell of both Dubois and Hellebuyck signing long term with LA, Both want to play close to their respective homes. Take out Byfield and it's much closer.

Detroit takes Neal Pionk for the Vancouver 2nd not their own 2nd.

Canes say no, a bit of an overpay here throwing in Morrow. Jets don’t have much leverage here, throw in another draft pick instead.
