Kings would just wait to sign Jarry if they wanted to. No need to pay a 3rd

Minnesota isn't trading their starting G at all especially for these nothing offer. Offersheets do not happen. You think writing offersheet which is a fan wishing more than reality in nhl will cause Minnesota to trade their starting G for nothing won't happen. Minnesota will also Keep him at that price

There are four assets that Pittsburgh has that I'd trade Rasmussen for; every other asset of Pittsburgh of Pittsburgh isn't even worth a 2nd from Detroit.

        Oh it's been happening.
We get Petry and some dog crap prospect, and all we have to give up is one of our few physical, great top-9 pieces!

That Wings trade is way off. Petry for Pens is a cap dump. In your scenario Pens are up against the cap and need to move Petry out to do so, so why would Wings give up a 2nd and Rasmussen to help Pens out? Answer they would not.

2nd Wi gs do not need any more LH shooting Defensemen, so again this makes zero sense. They already have Evidason, Johansson and Wallender who was voted European rookie Defenseman of the Year, all who shoot left and play the left side. Why in God's earth are they trading another older LH shooting defenseman?

As far as the 4th for Zucker, not a Steve kind of move. He is not trading picks for players unless they have term or he is sure to be able to sign and both of these are not certain with Zucker.

So good luck but these both are no's.

Rasmussen alone is worth more than that entire package to Detroit. Pass.

        Yes it is.

Pettersson or Schmidt last year or several years ago Mantha for Domi or 2nd round picks or Wings taking on bad cap and giving up picks and prospects to do so. Hell I had a guy on here once say GM's help each other out by taking on cap for nothing or giving up stuff to help.oyher GMs. He could not give me an example but said it was an u written rule and that Wings fans need to understand.

Since I love mocking these since they're always horrendous, I'll go through every trade here.

        1. Jarry is hardly worth a 4th with term; his signing rights are definitely not worth more.
        2. It makes more sense to just sign some random person in FA.
        3. Same thing; not worth a pick. There are many more better options in FA.
        4. Granlund is a cap-dump. You'd maybe future considerations for that offer; not an alright center on a center-barren team.
        5. New Jersey may actually consider this! Though, they probably get a 5th for Blackwood for a team that wants to bet on him rebounding.
        6. That 2nd is worth more than all of the assets. Rasmussen is worth more than that 2nd.
        7. Can't imagine Anaheim wants two "meh" pieces for Comtois.
        8. Two 2nds + 24OA for 14OA; I'd take that deal if I'm Nashville.
        9. That does not get DeBrincat; not enough quality.
        10. That also does not get Gustavsson, nor do I think Minnesota is interested considering that a tandem of Gustavsson + Wallstedt is cheap and very good.
        11. Calgary laughs
        12. Think Buffalo rather keep their underwhelming goalie.

laugh Detroit's not trading Rasmussen for Petry.

And that joke of an offer doesn't get Alex DeBrincat either.

But his hometown team doesn't want him.

I think you most likely have some goalie issues to figure out. Obviously Minnesota isn't making that trade, and BOS matches any Swayman offer sheet. Also, Blackwood isn't a 1B.

I know you brought it up in your description, but you can't just throw Carter on LTIR haha
