No chance on the Chicago trade. The problem with hellebuyck is I would only want him for this year, I don't want the gm to think he has to throw stupid money at a situation like that, that's how you get a jeff Skinner contract on your books.

Hawks won't do that. Retaining 17.5 and the fit of some of the pieces is just off. Levi is a nice prospect, but the Hawks are probably more interested in developing/giving a chance to their 3 young G (Including Commesso who they spent a 2nd on and has progressed well). Krebs on top of Bedard, Nazar last draft, Reichel starts to build a LOT of the same shape and size up front. And again 17.7 over 7 years is a tall ask for a team with no pressure to move the deal, for a good (probably not quite as good as his annual cost, but a good player none the less) player.
